Liliana Hart

Book 2 in The Gravediggers Series

Pocket Books

June 20, 2017

Praise for Gone to Dust, Book 2:

“Lucky fans of the super-talented Hart don’t have to wait long for the second installment of her new romantic suspense series Gravediggers, as the installments are being released back to back. In the first book, Hart set up her world where five men, declared dead to the world at large, work for a super-secret anti-terrorism force. Hart’s new heroine is a very talented romance writer who takes no crap from anyone — even secret commandos. Miller and Elias are both funny and sexy together, which helps make this book nonstop entertainment, with plenty of witty bantering and thrilling adventure!”—RT 4 ½ star TOP PICK Review

“Modern Cliterature…Enjoy [this] lusty [passage] adapted from summer’s raciest reads…”Cosmopolitan, July 2017

Praise for The Darkest Corner, Book 1:

“Gritty, deadly, and peppered with unexpected humor, this supersexy, adrenaline-charged story will keep readers on edge and breathless until the last page.”—Library Journal

“Liliana Hart sets up a fascinating and intriguing premise of individual men forced into taking extreme steps. Her heroine’s reluctant immersion into this world allows readers to discover the treachery and danger looming all around…a thrilling series!”—RT

“A cool blend of entertaining antics and suspenseful moments, with a slightly morbid sense of humor thrown in for good measure. (Our heroine was a mortician, after all!) I had a blast getting to know this cast of characters and can’t wait to see what exciting things Liliana Hart has in store for us next.”—Harlequin Junkie

 About the book:

New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Liliana Hart’s second book in her sexy, suspenseful Gravediggers series, GONE TO DUST, features an elite group of mysterious men who might be dead to the world, but are also tasked with saving it—and no one can ever know.

The Gravediggers aren’t exactly what they seem. They’re the most elite of the world’s fighting forces—and all they have in common is that they’ve been betrayed by the countries they’ve died for. Because they are dead. To their country, their military, and their families. Sometimes the dead do rise…

Miller Darling is one of the most popular romance novelists of her time. Not bad for a woman who doesn’t believe in romance. She’s as logical as they come, and she doesn’t believe in happily-ever-afters. What she does believe in is family, so when her brother disappears, she doesn’t think twice about packing her bag and her laptop and heading out to find him.

Elias Cole lived and breathed the live of a Navy SEAL. Now he’s “dead” and his hero’s honor tarnished. The only thing keeping him sane are the men who are like him—The Gravediggers—and the woman who makes his head spin. He’s never met anyone like Miller Darling. Her smart mouth and quick wit keep him on his toes, and damned if he doesn’t find that appealing.

When Miller receives a package from the brother who abandoned her asking for help, it’s clear she’s in over her head with the mess he’s gotten himself into. She needs a professional, and Elias is just the man for the job. Only her brother is a former SEAL—the man who left his team to die—and Elias is more interested in vengeance than saving his life.

I personally enjoyed the characters in the book, Miller and Elias’ banter was hilarious. Their chemistry scorching, and I couldn’t put the book down! It was sexy and packed with adventure. I’ve not had a chance to read the first book, and I don’t think I missed out on anything, except for an amazing story. (I’ve remedied that, by buying the first book in the series). But you can definitely follow along and get the gist as you get a bit of backstory from how the gravediggers were born. I’m invested in the series and can’t wait to see who the others fall for! Bravo! Excellent read!

me what fur ball they’re going to saddle me with.” I said as I collected my
stack of papers and organized them into a semi-neat pile.
noisily cleared his voice, “Uh hey Ari…”
I hope that whoever it is that he isn’t a complete moron. If I’m going to be
stuck with a pack partner, the least they can do is send me someone competent.”
Mike noisily cleared his throat again.
I asked, looking up from my desk.
was greeted by a tall man standing just inside the office, casually leaning
against the doorframe. He had tousled brown hair and steely grey colored eyes.
High cheekbones and a strong jaw formed his masculine face and a hint of
stubble dusted his jaw line, not enough to appear unkempt but just enough to
give a roguish impression. Dressed in black jeans, a black T, and a black
leather jacket, he oozed tall, dark and handsome with deadly intent.
would be this fur ball right here.” He said, an arrogant grin lifting the
corner of his mouth. I let my head fall to the surface of my desk, then for
good measure I gently knocked my forehead on its smooth surface, one, two,
three times. Dammit I couldn’t believe I had just called him a freaking fur
ball! I could feel my cheeks warm in embarrassment and did my best to hide it.

at him for good measure and then allowed my head to connect with the desk’s
surface once more before sitting up. rubbing the slight sting away “Yea, I’m
done.” I told him. Well, at least this wouldn’t be as bad as I had thought.
James was the only shifter that I actually personally knew and was one of the

that he stopped me from wiping the floor with their coyote asses and burning
the entire building to ash.  It was
probably a good thing that he had stepped in but I remember being furious with
him at the time, I had really wanted to give those bastards a piece of my mind
and show them that I wasn’t just some naive little girl. That was back when I
was still cocky over my abilities. Things had changed since then and the
thought was sobering. Now being a pyrokinetic was something I had to hide and
honestly, that just plain sucked.

nodded, his face going serious, “Yea I’m you’re partner, ready to do something

Favorite part of the male anatomy, brought to you by Six Pack Stud-a-thon…. plus Giveaway

My favorite part of the male anatomy, are the hands. Strong, veined hands totally do it for me. There is just something about the strength of a mans hands that shouts, sexy! Not to mention if they’re good with their hands then its possible they’re good at other things too.  I recently had a friend ask me a very interesting question. She asked me this. “When you look at a man do you imagine what he’d be like in bed?” This completely and totally through me for loop. I have to admit I was even thinking, “Girlfriends gots some issues.” But I very politely said, “No sweetheart, if, and that’s a big if…. I get that far into a thought process it wouldn’t be me thinking if that man is good in bed. It would be me thinking if that man has good hands. Some may think its weird, but I assure you I’m not alone in my addiction to male hands.

You can learn a lot from someone’s hands. If they’re smooth and with out callous’ well, then that could mean, this person has never seen a hard work in their life. It could also hint at other things, but that doesn’t necessarily mean its a bad thing. Rough hands convey that they could possible do hard labor, or it could just as easily mean they just have bad skin. LOL. But as a writer I like to think of other thoughts as to why a mans hands are they way they are. Call me crazy all you like, but again I know I’m not alone. I wish I could have found pictures of a mans hands to show you what I mean, but maybe another time!

“Night that good?” Ellen said as she sped past her, heading towards her own desk.
Harper propped her head up and placed her hand underneath her chin. With a yawn, she replied. “Oh my god…”
Ellen put her stuff down and sprinted to her friend’s desk. “Ok, details, you must spill. Did you like them?”
Harper took a long gulp of her coffee said. “Yes, they were… they are really good.”
Ellen sat on the end of the Harper’s desk with a huge grin on her face. “See, I told you you’d like them.” She told her friend.
Harper’s lips curved into a weak smile as she inhaled the strong aroma of caffeine. The more she sipped, the more she continued to awaken. She tried to find the words for exactly what she thought of Cass as she took another sip of her coffee and began to play with the ends of her headphone buds. “You did. Ummm …Cass is ummm…“ she said before Ellen interrupted.
“Gorgeous, charming… Isn’t that accent enough to make your panties wet?” Ellen asked excitedly.
Harper propped herself up and leaned back in her chair. She snickered. “He’s certainly a charmer. He must have complimented me a half dozen times.” Ellen’s eyes rose with surprise. “He did? He doesn’t normally do that.”
Now Harper was even more confused and apprehensive than she was about last night. “He did with me. I don’t know what it was. Maybe it was the vodka he was drinking, but said that I was a ‘pretty little thing’ ” she said mocking his southern drawl.
“Well I agree with that, you are a pretty a little thing.” Ellen commented.

The Genesis Project

Whooo…. Reading, Writing, Math, and……Sexual Tension!
Genesis is finding it more and more difficult to ignore her body’s response, every time she is in the vicinity of Xander.
She knows he is a self-professed player, and loves having the hordes of females vying for his attentions. Despite that knowledge, Genesis finds herself losing the battle within.
Gen listened carefully to what her father had to say, when he explained that her differences could put her in danger if they were discovered. Her way of life, her well-being would irrevocably change – and not in any good way.
So then, WHY can’t she close off what happens when she thinks of Xander?
Gambling everything for a male? One, who likely only wants to add her as a notch and move on.
What will Gen do? Can she close her feelings off and stick to her fathers’ plan – or will she throw caution to the wind, trusting that Xander will keep her secrets?
Author Tigris Eden’s: The Genesis Project
Xander watched Genesis Blackmore as she rounded the corner with Nimziri. The other male always made sure he was near Genesis. He and his sister Nimaya were always in her suite, and how did he know this? Simple, he would occasionally wait for her at the adjoining staircase, and every time he tried to get her alone, the cock blocking bastard was there.
Xander took all of Gen’s flawless features in; from the slender, delicate column of her neck, to the full, lush curve of her breasts. She was perfection incarnate, and naiveté gave her the sensual appeal of a female who only had the purest of intentions when it came to garnering affections from a male.
Midnight ringlets fell around her face accentuating her elegance. Even her hair was perfect. Thoughts of the dark curtain fanned out on his white silk sheets muddled his brain and sent blood rushing to his cock. She was curvy, fuller and creamier than the rest of the female population on New Earth. Even those in the southern tier of the planet were shapeless compared to her. He’d slept with hundreds of females from far and wide. There were few galaxies his cock hadn’t conquered. But to be faced with her loveliness on a daily basis was sheer torture.
In all the galaxies, hell the Federated Universes, she was unique. Ice blue eyes ringed by pure gold held a male ensnared. Her long, thick lashes cast shadows on her cheeks, giving a new meaning to slumberous eyes.
Genesis Blackmore was more than a passing fancy; she was every male’s darkest fantasy come to life. She pulled a male from the deepest pit of his unconscious thoughts and breathed life into his skin. Every male on New Earth and beyond would give everything in his possession to be with a woman like Genesis.
She was a different spice they could attain. The one that would make a male stand out in a crowd and women all gasp in envy.

The males of New Earth could sleep outside their species, and Xander had done his share of inter- species bed hopping; but to match with one such as her was unheard of. Match?
Xander’s thoughts were on a path to destruction, and before he had a chance to deny the statement, he realized that yes; he did want to be matched with Genesis Blackmore.
Normally a thought like that would have left him nauseous and unsettled in his skin. Something this significant couldn’t go without careful observation. Did he truly want to be matched to her? Totally devoted to her in every way imaginable; tied to one woman with no chance of escape? Hell yes he did! His skin was heated and knew that if he looked in the mirror, his eyes would be flooded with an intense desire. She wasn’t some fling, or even a match of convenience. She’d moved the floor beneath him and he hadn’t had a moment’s hesitation from taking the fall. He watched Gen and Nimziri in a heated conversation and wondered if she would want to be matched to him.

JenRen’s Review of a delightfully Naughty take on Romeo and Juliet

JenRen’s Review of a delightfully Naughty take on Romeo and Juliet

The Tragic Foreplay of Romeo and Juliet – M.A. DeWitt
Sensual Shakespeare Series #1

Published: November 3, 2012
Publisher: M.A. DeWitt

The Classic Tale…

Eighteen-year-old Juliet is betrothed to Paris, a rich and arrogant relative to royalty. Across town, Romeo is in love with the beautiful Rosaline who treats him like dirt. Romeo and Juliet both dream of sex and love in the midst of their unhappiness.

One Fateful Night…

During a masquerade ball, Romeo and Juliet meet for the first time, changing both of their lives forever. Without exchanging names, they are drawn to one another. Both ready to live out their wildest fantasies of love and ecstasy together.

A Bitter Feud…

After the lovers learn they are from rival families, they strive forward, putting their faith in love and lust. With the help of a kinky best friend and a nurse with a secret sexual hunger, will Romeo and Juliet finally find their happy ending?

50 Shades of Shakespeare…

This adult adaptation of the iconic Shakespeare play is not for children. It is for those who find poetry in erotic fantasies. It goes beyond the classic romance to find the dark desires in each and every one of us.

Join us in Verona, where families and bodies collide…

The Tragic Foreplay of Romeo and Juliet is approximately 38,000 words and more than 100 paper pages long.

To my delight, I was asked to read and review The Tragic Foreplay of Romeo and Juliet.
Let’s be honest, I was excited with the idea of an erotic take on such a time honored tale as Romeo and Juliet.
I imagined quite a few different directions the story could go…
M.A. DeWitt surprised me with her version
I hadn’t thought of portraying Romeo as the talented craftsman he is, and the thought of his inventions certainly got the Ah-hem ‘creative juices’ flowing…if you know what I mean.
Ms. DeWitt really developed Romeo’s character into someone very different from the original. However, Juliet’s character could have used more fleshing out.
I easily got inside Romeo’s head, and felt I got to know him and his way of thinking. Making it possible for me to connect with him; Juliet’s thoughts were decidedly one-track. That wasn’t a bad, her thoughts and actions were sexy and interesting – but I didn’t feel as though I got to know her.
Of the supporting cast – Juliet’s nurse and Friar Lawrence were my favorites!
Nurse (no name) was hysterical with the things she says. She is quick witted, and has some titillating sexual tastes of her own.
Friar Lawrence was completely opposite of what I had expected. He is very honest regarding his love of the taboo.
This erotic take had me laughing out loud and sexting with my hubby.
M.A. has delivered a fun, sexy romp for all to enjoy!!
You’ll definitely have a Happy End….errr, I mean, Happy Reading!

About the Author

I’m an author who has written 30 books in various genres. As a challenge to myself, I’ve started writing erotica under the pen name M.A. DeWitt.
My goal is to make the books enjoyable, sexy and to stay in the spirit of the author I’m parodying. I’d love to erotically parody all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays.
I use a pen name to keep my family safe and secure. While erotica has lost some of its stigma because of 50 Shades of Grey, we’re not all the way there yet. I don’t want anyone to be made fun of or to feel uncomfortable.
I come from a comedy and theater background (thus the love of Shakespeare), but I’ve always been interested in genres that tend to be a bit taboo. I look forward to crafting stories for you wonderful readers.

JenRen’s Review: Feels Like the First Time, Shawn Inmon

JenRen’s Review: Feels Like the First Time, Shawn Inmon

JenRen’s Review: Feels Like The First Time, Shawn Inmon

Author: Shawn Inmon
Publisher: Pertime Publishing
Published: September 4, 2012

September, 1975: Shawn meets Dawn, his one true love, when she moves into the vacant house next door. Many people spend their life searching in vain for happiness, but he was lucky; finding it at the age of fifteen.
February 1979: Forbidden to see each other and feeling he is harming her by being in her life, he walks away from the love of his life, apparently forever.
December, 2006: After decades of sadness and mourning the girl that got away, he has a chance meeting with her that might change his life forever… again. Can the sweet bond of first love not only survive, but flourish?
Feels Like the First Time lets you share in the magic of young love in small town America in the 1970s. No matter how much the world changes, some things – timeless music, high school dances, making out in the backseat of a Chevy Vega, and of course true love – will always remain the same.

Feels Like the First Time is a very romantic story, about when boy meets girl, falling in love for the first time and is a true story.
Shawn tells us his story of meeting Dawn, and the beginning of a true friendship; of how their friendship grew into crushes, and then into love.
Shawn did not have an ideal upbringing…life was pretty good until his adolescence. Tragedy struck his family and changed their lives forever. He felt alone a lot of the time his Mom had her own ways of trying to deal with the aftermath.
When Dawn moved in next door, Shawn was happy to have someone to chat with now and again. As time went on, they got to know each other better. At Shawn’s 15th birthday party – they shared a dance, and that is when Shawn realized he had feelings for Dawn. However, Dawn was too young to be anything more than a good friend.
When Dawn began her freshman year her parents were supportive and actually encouraged a relationship with Shawn. They were practically inseparable throughout high school.
As Shawn’s graduation approached, Dawn’s parents became strict about their relationship. They suddenly implemented rules – when there were never rules before. More and more Shawn and Dawn were ‘grounded’ from one another, neither could figure out why her parents had completely changed their minds about the kids dating.
All too soon, Shawn found himself hours away at college. He wasn’t allowed to call Dawn, nor could they see one another when he was home on holiday breaks. Both of them were utterly devastated and so confused!
Eventually, Shawn had to make the decision to let Dawn go. They snuck to see each other when he was home – and it was plain to see the toll it was taking on Dawn.
Even though it felt like he was dying, he found the courage and strength to split up. He wanted Dawn to be the happy and vibrant girl he loved so desperately, and trying to hold on was not going to do anything but destroy them both.
When Shawn walked away, he knew he was leaving behind the only girl he would ever truly love. He hoped and prayed they would cross paths again someday……
Shawn carried on with his life, and Dawn did the same. They went in different directions, meeting new people, and trying to form relationships.
By some divine miracle, many years after they had split up, Shawn had a chance encounter with Dawn…..
I strongly suggest that you run fast, and grab your copy of Feels Like the First Time!! This story is epically romantic, and one for the ages.
I was completely immersed in Shawn and Dawn’s story from the very beginning. I laughed, cried, and went through all the emotions they felt.
I actually cheered when Shawn realized that the voice and laugh he heard during his chance meeting….I had tears of joy running down my face when they met up the second time and decided to have a date.
This is a bit of a roller coaster ride, but in the end you’ll feel so happy for them getting a second chance!!
Another aspect of this story that I identified with, is how Shawn viewed music. He can listen to a song and it will transport him to a time when he first heard it and how it made him feel. How he associates music with events in his life.
CONGRATS to both Shawn and Dawn….for never forgetting and always hoping.

Guest Post

Every Life is a Story
I met Dawn, the love of my life, when she moved into the house next door the year I turned fifteen. She was three years behind me in school, so it took some time to realize that I loved her. For us, friendship came first. We spent hundreds of hours, sitting in the grass between our two houses, laughing, teasing and supporting each other through the trials of being teenagers in small-town America in the 1970s. By the end of my junior year in high school, I knew I loved her, but it took until mid-way through my senior year before I let her in on the secret.
One short year later, we had made a lifetime commitment to each other, but had also been banned from seeing each other by her parents. I said good-bye to Dawn, I thought forever, on Valentine’s Day 1979. Although I never stopped loving her, I didn’t see her again until December 1st, 2006. When I did run into her again, completely by accident, it shook my world to its foundations.
After these events transpired, I began to realize that it was a story, and I wrote my book Feels Like the First Time. Now, after writing and publishing my own story, I have talked to dozens of people who said they related to our story of first love and lost love. Through these conversations, I have realized that every life is a story. Some are romances, some are action-adventure stories, and at least a few are comedies, but every life has a story arc.
With the changes in publishing over the last decade, telling that story has never been easier. When I first started writing Feels Like the First Time in 2006, I was intent on going to traditional publishing route – looking for an agent and trying to “sell” my story to a publishing house. By the time I finished it, I decided not to send out even a single query letter. The idea of being my own publisher had become too appealing to think of turning my own life story over to a stranger.
It was a steep learning curve for me, but I enjoyed every step in learning about editing, proofreading, cover design and interior book layout. It’s possible to do these things yourself, or you can hire professionals to do it for you. Before you get to that step though, you’ve got to write. And then write some more, and still more. Because I was an inexperienced writer, I wrote over two dozen drafts of Feels Like the First Time before I was ready to hire an editor to look at it.
I also recommend a thick skin. When I turned in the first draft of my story, it was over 100,000 words. When I hit “publish” five months later, it was 66,000 words. And that was after I’d already done dozens of revision on my own. Through the editing process, I kept a single mantra in the forefront of my brain: Whatever makes the book better. When you’re writing about your own life, it’s tough, but it’s good to get as much ego out of the way as you can.
Until you’ve done it the first time, the idea of sitting down and writing a book can be intimidating. That’s why I don’t recommend that. Instead, try just recreating various memories from your life, and telling them as stories. Write about your first kiss, or your first car, or when you lost someone close to you. Eventually, you may see a pattern emerging in those stories and a book might be in there, begging to be let out. Feels Like the First Time started as a series of emails between my oldest sister and I. It wasn’t until we had been exchanging those emails for two years that either of us realized it was a book.
Everyone has a story to tell, and it’s never been easier to share your story with the rest of the world.
