Late Night: Did You Know

Late Night: Did You Know

It’s late and I’m up researching for a story I have yet to start yet. But when it hits, it hits. I’ve gotten better at putting items in the vault, but only after I grab the piece in my head. Otherwise, I’ll totally forget it. Then I set a reminder for the vault to pop back up in three months. It’s how I decide what new project I want to infuse into my other continuing projects.

Tonight I was interested in Cuneiform.

Did you know, cuneiform is not a language? It’s made up of 600-1000 characters to write words. (Source) History Extra. You can see the full post here. Cuneiform is made of up two languages, Sumerian and Akkadian. I’d always thought it was a language, but it’s not. It’s a writing system. GO FIGURE!

Random Acts of Writing

Random Acts of Writing

There is so much to say about writing randomly. I do it all the time. I have tons, and I mean tons of notebooks, sticky-notes, and well, paper. Some might even say I’m a bit crazy with all the things I write down. But today started off as any other day. I woke up, (I’m on vacation so score there) and I decided to sit down at my computer and get my writing on. *What you don’t know is that it’s really Tuesday night, and not Wednesday morning* which is when this post will go live. But that’s a different issue altogether right? Right.

I was talking about random acts of writing. Well, I’m taking a marketing class right now, and one of the things it talks about is planning a content schedule that will crush your goals. Do I want to crush my goals? Hells yeah! I have this template and it says publish twice, two weeks apart to get started, and then of course, build momentum from there. If you haven’t figured it out yet, this post is a random act of writing, and if you read this. KUDOS to you! I’m testing out my mad marketing skills and I’m wondering how many people have read this post? Laughed, or thought, “geesh, I just wasted x amount of time reading gobbly gook.

Thanks for reading my gobbly gook!
