3rd book in the series
It is 5 days since i read the first book and i have just finished the third!!......that gives you some idea as to how involved i am in this series, i really can not read the books quick enough, they are so addictive. The books are so well written you can't help but become involved with the characters and invested in the ongoing plot.
This book is about Gabe, the Harbinger of Death and Xee, a quirky, tough but vulnerable character who carries another being inside her, Micah. It is very easy to guess that Micah is not who she thinks he is.
This story is just as fast-paced and exciting as the others and you are really taken through the ringers emotionally in this book. Happy endings? not even close!! Blood, guts, and gore aplenty. I also wanted to skin a couple of the characters myself!
There is so much going on that I found myself going back a few pages now and again to make sure I was on the right track. This is not a bad thing. I was just reading so quickly to find out what was going to happen next!
I love the fact that characters that have had their own stories are in this story as well and are developing as the plot develops.
NEEEEXT! .....Yes, I have the next book ready.
